Masterhomepage is an owner-operated web agency in Basel. For over 20 years, we have been developing and maintaining websites, online shops, and custom web applications for companies in Switzerland.

We want to help our customers and other SMEs simplify their workflows, automate routine tasks and save valuable time with artificial intelligence.

We are looking for someone with in-depth AI knowledge, practical implementation experience, and an understanding of the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. You will help us shape this new business area – from initial customer consultations to reliable, everyday solutions.

Your tasks

• You analyze workflows at our customers and identify where AI offers economic benefits.
• You develop concrete solutions, for example for handling customer inquiries, processing documents, maintaining product data, or accessing internal knowledge.
• You connect AI applications with existing websites, shop systems, CRM and ERP systems.
• You create prototypes and guide them through to productive use.
• You assess the quality, reliability, and operating costs of the solutions.
• You will support us in developing clear service offerings – including scope of services, calculation and ongoing support.
• You explain to customers in an understandable way what is possible with AI, what requirements it needs and where its limits lie.
• You will share your knowledge with our team and develop reusable solutions with us.

This is what you bring with you

• Sound knowledge of current AI models, their applications and limitations.
• Practical experience in implementing AI applications and automated processes.
• Experience with APIs, data integration and tools such as n8n, Make or similar platforms.
• Programming skills, for example in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with integrating company data and documents into AI applications, for example via RAG.
• Understanding of data protection, access rights and the responsible handling of confidential information.
• The ability to understand a business process and develop a suitable, maintainable solution.
• Independence, entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment of direct customer contact.
• Excellent German skills as well as English skills for technical documentation.

Experience with WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop or Shopify is a plus.
